Yes, its true... and don't try to tell me different, cause its the honest to goodness truth. And I'll tell you why.

As you may well know already, I have recently started working on my very first piece of fan-fiction. A MvA fic that, I like to think, has a really good chance to be the best thing I have ever sat down and completed. Things were going well (hehe, quote) but then my computer decided to put a stop to that... getting a virus and hitherto refusing to even start up. So my productivity came to a screeching halt.

Now, I have some moderate access to computers... but I cannot get my precious notes off my defective laptop... So I am loath to start up again without them. Plus, one of the computers I do have access to is a mac computer... which is the FAIL. It will not take my word documents and use them, and anything I do do on this hateful contraption, I can only use on a mac computer.

So, I considered myself free of obligation... well, not exactly free, but I've got a damn good reason to slack if I say so myself. I just put a mute on my muse and decided to focus on schoolwork...

My muse did not like that. Not one bit... so at the worst possible moment, when my defenses were down and all unsuspecting... she struck. I was doing my homework in front of the tv, when I came across a showing of Edward Scissorhands... a movie that I had known about, but never actually seen. So I decided to click that on and kill two birds with one stone. Movie, and homework... I should have known better.

I fell in love with Edward Scissorhands, utterly and completely. It so keyed into my fangirl heart (as I've said multiple times before) and I was swept away by the magnificent tale... But I found the ending unsatisfactory- and the muse struck, and a new fanfiction blossomed in my mind, overpowering my meager facilities and making me useless to the word until I got it off my brain. (It was at this point that I discovered exactly how hateful the mac computer can be... evil thing.)

But even writing down my ideas did not quell the beast, I had no one to fangirl with... Alone in my fanaticism, it gnawed at my brian like the horrible plot bunnies do and I desperately tried to find somebody, anybody, to squee with me in fangirl joy and to critic my beginning attempts at fan-fiction-dome. I found a few on here, and it helped a little bit, it didn't completely kill the beast, but it did cause it to stop ravaging my mind so viciously... but it still held me captive, stalking my comments and message pages in hopes of replies.

And replies were slow, far and few between. Wasting time like I have an eternity to spend, I would brows though my friends favorites galleries in search of something that would grab my imagination. And thats where I found something else to drain my time...

Its an rp group called 'Thorns: Uprising', it looked really cool, and as the rp group that I had been previously engaged in has become inconsistent and nearly dead with inactivity... I thought I would give it a shot. And it is really cool. Im working on my character, learning the world and exploring the forum... and its looking to be like a really fun time...

That is how I spent my Monday. I sat in front of the computer... doing, well, nothing. A whole day, wasted away on cyberspace. And if you remember, I did mention something about homework earlier... yeah?

I have a lot of homework due on Wednesday... which is tomorrow. I have to keep reminding myself this because, when one wastes time, time gets harder and harder to keep track of. A LOT of homework: trig, english, computer graphics, all of which are going to take an obscene amount of time to do and here I am... wasting time, doing nothing.

Like I said, I am an idiot.

Now if you'll excuse me... I have a lot of work I need to be doing...
